GOLF CLUB • KEW THE YEAR AHEAD The Ladies Sub-Committee of Sue Leong, Robyn This year we have successfully handed over the Judd, Anne-Marie Quinn, Suzanne Lucas, Helen running of some of our annual events to the Golf Centre who have done a great job, and we will be looking to continue this trend in the year ahead. We were very sorry to see Ollie Webb depart in May as he has done a wonderful job and made many friends at Green Acres. Cations and Wendy Hall have worked tirelessly to make ladies golf run very smoothly at Green Acres. I thank them all sincerely for their time and commitment. Last but not least I would like to thank the lady members who participate in great numbers in all our Our Charity Day will be held on 7 October and as yet a charity has not been selected. We get enormous support from members both in donations and also by buying raffle tickets and produce on the day. A Note of Thanks I would like to express my thanks to our President Peter French, our General Manager Peter Busch, events both social and golfing. It is a great privilege being Lady President of this Club, but it is made much easier by the magnificent support I receive from the Ladies Sub-Committee, the staff and the members. Jocie Stone Lady President and our Captain Brian Wasley for their ongoing support. We also receive outstanding service from Brett Manallack and his house staff, Andy Curtis and his Golf Centre staff, Callum Terrill, Carolyn Giomi and Amy Woolcombe. Sarosh Khariwala and his staff also continue to do an outstanding job catering for our many functions while Mat Poultney and his staff consistently present the course in a manner in which we can all be proud. 13
