Our partners at Safe @ AllStar developed a multi-layered child protection program that provides personalized training , materials and resources to help protect athletes and create environments that encourage safety , openness and disclosure . This model educates , empowers and enhances self-awareness among athletes , parents , coaches , club owners and event producers . Safe @ AllStar provides free training that is relevant to each USASF member type to help them :

• minimize the risk of child sexual abuse and misconduct ;

• recognize the warning signs of possible abuse ; and

• know how to respond to suspicions or known abuse .
