ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT
The USASF offers these leadership opportunities for athletes :
• BOLT ( Bettering Our Leaders of Tomorrow ): leadership training for high school-age All Star athletes
• MARCH ( Males Advancing Respect , Character and Honor ): leadership training for high school-age All Star male athletes
• ALL STAR IN ACTION JUNIOR : leadership training for middle schoolage All Star athletes
• ALL STAR ATHLETE FORUM : member benefit free training ( virtual )
Twenty-five athletes who completed the BOLT / MARCH leadership training were selected to serve on the USASF
Athlete Advisory Council .
The Athlete Advisory Council participates in additional leadership training from the
USASF core leadership facilitators and
USASF hosted a webinar in spring 2021 for male athletes facilitated by top male owners , coaches and choreographers . The discussion provided a platform for male athletes to explore and express their needs and was a powerful and enlightening experience for all participants .
contributes on topics such as mental health , athlete burnout , athlete protection and
Diversity , Equity , Inclusion and Sensitivity . They contribute or make recommendations to the Regional and National
Advisory Boards and the National Meeting Assemblies .
