The Turnaround Program: Proven and Scaling
Seroond is not a curriculum overlay. It is not a weekend workshop. It is a comprehensive, whole-school turnaround that rewires how a school thinks, teaches, leads, and connects with its community. In 2025, the program operated across 7 schools with 168 teachers, 1,981 students, and their families.
Two schools, Vanadzor Basic School No. 21 and Zangakatun Secondary School, completed the full two-year program and transitioned to sustainability, demonstrating that the improvements Seroond creates can endure beyond the program itself. Three new schools joined: Shahumyan and Debed secondary schools in Lori, and, for the first time, Yerevan Elementary School No. 166, bringing Seroond into the capital. The 2024 – 2025 performance data tells a story of dramatic, measurable improvement:
Metric September 2024 May 2025
Students with Independent Life Skills
Average Literacy Score
18 % 57 %
37 % 75 %
( no students below threshold)
Math Threshold Achievement Rate 46 % 76 %

At Vanadzor Basic School No. 21, final assessments showed that 50 % of students scored above 75 % in math, 84 % achieved 4.0 in life skills, and the parent Net Promoter Score was 97, a figure that most consumer brands would envy.
