Using Standardized Effect Size, the international benchmark for measuring learning impact, the results were extraordinary. In the Armenian Language, the effect size was 0.43, equivalent to approximately 1.4 years of learning. In Mathematics, it reached 1.22, equivalent to 3.1 years of learning compressed into a single academic year. For context, the OECD’ s PISA framework estimates that one year of typical schooling produces an effect size of about 0.3. Our mathematics results represent more than four times the international norm. These are not aspirational projections. These are measured outcomes.
Teacher Effectiveness: # 1 in Europe
2,445 students taught by 142 Teacher-Leaders participated in the Panorama Student Perception Survey, a globally recognized tool that measures teacher effectiveness through students’ experiences. Teach For Armenia scored 85 %, exceeding the Teach For All network average of 81 %, and ranks number one in the overall Europe region within the Teach For All global network. We are now frequently invited to share our methodology and best practices with partner organizations across the network.
