Health For Armenia
Inspired by Teach For Armenia’ s model and a decade of experience building leadership pipelines in underserved communities, Health For Armenia applies the same conviction to healthcare, recruiting and developing doctor-leaders in rural primary care through mentorship, skills training, and hands-on community projects. Their flagship Healthcare Leadership Program addresses the human capital crisis in Armenia’ s primary care system, with 19,000 + lives touched to date. If Teach For Armenia proved that a leadership model could transform education, Health For Armenia is proving it can transform health.
These five initiatives are not siloed. They form a leadership pathway: a teacher trained through the fellowship becomes a school turnaround leader in Seroond, then launches an innovative venture via Káits, and eventually helps write national policy through the Public Policy Lab. This interconnected architecture ensures that short-term classroom impact grows into long-term systemic transformation across four dimensions of change: Practice, Community & Networks, Power, and Narratives.
