OUR GRADUATES — THE CLASS OF 2024
As is tradition , Grade 12 students chose a name for their graduating class in the fall : ’ 24FPS ( Frames Per Second ). The class ’ s journey to graduation played out like a captivating , classic coming-of-age film , beginning with the cherished tradition of the Alumnae Association ’ s Graduation Tea at Hycroft Manor . The narrative unfolded with rising anticipation at the lively Grad BBQ in the Nancy Chan Courtyard and included the always-powerful , heartfelt Graduation Ceremony scene in Manrell Hall — the culmination of years of dedication and growth . The Class of ’ 24FPS then celebrated their achievements with a stunning finale at the Graduation Dinner and Dance at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver .
Head Prefect Ange Yeung ’ s valedictory address for ’ 24FPS was a powerful snapshot in this year ’ s story , urging graduates to embrace challenges as pivotal plot twists rather than obstacles . By confronting these challenges head-on , we not only uncover unexpected growth but also enrich our personal narratives along the paths we are passionate about .
“ What you ’ ve learned about yourself here will continue to influence the person you want to become and your path to getting there . As we move out of these Ivy walls , we have a chance to grow … to amend and add new features .”
