Home of the Innocents is the heart of our city. 133 children were fostered and 9 were adopted through our Therapeutic Loving foster Care and Adoption program, including 26 through our Project Keepsafe program. 252 children (and 188 adults) were served through our community-based services in Indiana 362 380 children (from 382 families) were served through our community-based services in Kentucky children were cared for in our residential program and emergency shelter With the support of 3,470 monetary donors, we provided outstanding services to children and families across the region. Home of the Innocents provides a range of important residential and community-based programs. Caring for more than 11,300 children and their families last year, services include a safe haven for at-risk 20 children, clinical treatment services, crisis and children received respite care services in the Kosair Charities Pediatric Convalescent Center, our skilled nursing facility intervention services, therapeutic loving foster care and adoption services, a pediatric convalescent center for children who are medically complex or terminally ill, and an integrated pediatric medical facility, Open Arms Children’s Health. 3,879 157 volunteer visits provided 9,574 volunteer hours Area Served Number of clients in Kentucky and Indiana counties.
