enrich the lives of children and families
with hope, health, and happiness
From the CEO
Friends,
Thank you for making 2018 yet another amazing year for the children and families served by
Home of the Innocents! We had remarkable success stories that our entire team loves to share.
Teaching a young boy who was starved by his family that he would never again go without food.
Giving children with hearing loss the ability to hear. Nurturing a medically complex resident,
who was abused by her parent, until she was adopted by her forever family. Providing speech
therapy to children who are now saying their first words. Assisting a medically complex resident
with his steps after receiving a prosthetic leg.
Over this past year, I am proud and inspired by the wonderful accomplishments our organization has achieved. We are
blessed by our talented and dedicated team members that provided exceptional care and support to the 11,300 children
and families we served. We are fortunate to have the unwavering guidance and support of our Board and Associate
Board of Directors. Our team of selfless volunteers who made our wishes a reality. Finally, we have our generous
community supporters – without each of you, we simply would not be able to do the amazing things we do to enrich the
lives of children and families with hope, health, and happiness.
I look forward to sharing our achievements and the stories of those we are committed to serving in 2019!
