the nomenclature may differ but the idea is to create a corpus for RTIT for new members to

decision for either of the organisations. Tr. Dhruv mentioned that members of RTI are eligible
Trustees of RTIT.

corpus. Tr. Manan Soni RT19 asked how Rs.2100 came up. Tr. Dhruv mentioned closed to
600-700 inductions and this will help us build a corpus with 15-16 lakhs a year. Tr. Suyash
LTRT207 asked if person would get 80G receipt and what is objective that this fund does not
move towards income & expenditure and is out in Corpus Fund so it is not taxed and utilised
for the purpose for which the money is used. Tr. Dhruv mentioned that 80G will be given. Tr.
Vivek Maheshwari requested for an amendment for making it with immediate effect. Tr.
Santhosh RT159 asked if this is open only for new members and existing members can
contribute - Tr. Dhruv mentioned that existing members can contribute voluntarily.
Speakers FOR the Motion:
Tr. Harish mentioned about the complications and mentioned that corpus has to start
somewhere and requested to start this corpus. Tr. Suyash mentioned that this would make the
organisation self sufficient. Tr. Varun RT206 mentioned by this move the dependability on
corporate donors can be reduced. Tr. Vickaash Agarwal RT19 asked for an amendment of Rs.
500/- per existing Tabler per year. Tr. Piyush mentioned that the amendment changes the crux
of the motion and needs to be brought up at next NAGM. Tr. Akshay MSRT123 spoke that we
join the movement because of the great work we do and no other organisation matches us and
year on year tables are increasing manifold and number of projects are increasing and funds
available are limited and are exhausted with funds - we want the work to go on and support
the motion for Rs.2100/-. Tr. Ambuj asked if this amount can be added to NM kit.
Speakers AGAINST the Motion:
Tr. Christopher RT31 mentioned that the current format is invalid - donation is an act of
voluntary charity an can never be made mandate and members cannot be asked to pay a
mandatory contribution to another legal entity Rs.2100/- and this can be legally challenged.
