The year in focus: 2015 - 2016 04/15 05/15 The Matrix Housing Partnership received national recognition for building over 800 new homes. As one of the most successful partnerships in the West Midlands, Matrix helped to deliver much needed affordable housing in the region, stimulating growth and jobs. Over 35 new urban and rural developments were completed across Birmingham and the Black Country and other parts of the region, including Wychavon, Redditch, Gloucester, Stroud, Staffordshire and Derbyshire. A contract was signed between the Accord Group and Staffordshire County Council to deliver, as part of a consortium, two dementia centres of excellence using the Eden Alternative method of care. 07/15 06/15 Brighter Futures is launched by Fry Housing Trust in partnership with Sandwell Council, and aims to target abusive partners responsible for domestic violence and reduce violence within the household. City Deal ‘Working Together’ saw the Accord Group come together with Bilston Resource Centre and Gazebo Theatre to deliver this £2.8 million five-year pilot project to help long-term unemployed customers back into work Annual Report 2016 5
