U14 Boys – Falkirk Fury
U16 Girls – Falkirk Fury
U16 Boys – Stirling Knights

Schools Competition 2012-2013
During the season there were several regional primary/secondary basketball events.
Over 10 primary school tournaments or festivals took place within the region and over 6 high
school tournaments/festivals.
Most of these had more than 1 day of competition each.
Within the tournaments/festivals the participant numbers were over 1000.
Coach/Officials/Volunteer Development
The development of both categories this year has been focussed on supporting the competitions which ran within
the region.
We have seen a huge growth in officials and coaches now volunteering their time in the Regional
Development Leagues. This helps with the sustainability of the RDLs and also provides and
opportunity for the officials and coaches to gain experience in a development focussed
environment.
The “Reffin’ Brilliant” course run in partnership with Scottish Student Sport also helped develop some new officials
who have officiated in the RDLs.
