Develop citizenship skills and pride in the history and heritage of the United States through a fully developed Citizenship course. Supportive Services Department will assist students in completing the N-400 form, Application for Naturalization, requiring students to complete it within the first two weeks of class. Students will view video of mock USCIS interviews to prepare for the exam. Students will share their successes of passing the USCIS exam by talking about their experience of taking the test. 1. Job counseling including but not limited to: preparation for job interviews, assistance with resumes and job applications, and escorts to job interviews. 2. Surveys of employers and students will be completed. 3. There is an inverse relationship between jobs available and the probability that students will receive a job offer (i.e. fewer jobs available > more applicants per job > decreased probability of job offer).
