Tackling climate change
UNDERSTANDING AND MEASURING OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT
We regularly measure our greenhouse gas emissions to better understand the impact of our activities on the climate and to steer our reduction trajectory. Carbon footprint assessments follow the GHG Protocol methodology, covering scopes 1, 2 and 3 across all the Group ' s activities. They are carried out with the support of an external expert consultancy( GreenFlex), which has the necessary skills and accreditations as an independent third party. This collaboration ensures the methodological robustness of the analyses, their compliance with GHG Protocol standards, and the reliability of the results used to steer the climate trajectory.
Emission sources taken into account include:
• Purchases of raw materials, packaging items, finished products and services,
• Logistics and transport operations( upstream, downstream and internal freight),
• Travel( business travel and commuting),
• Site energy consumption,
• End of life of packaging and products,
• And capital goods.
This approach gives us a comprehensive, consistent view of our carbon footprint across our entire value chain.
