Our environmental approach is based on the following principles:
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
Comply with all environmental regulations applicable in the countries where the Group operates and maintain active regulatory monitoring.
PREVENTION AND REDUCTION OF IMPACTS
Give priority to preventive action at source and implement measures to reduce the actual and potential environmental impacts of activities, products and services.
RISK- AND IMPACT- BASED APPROACH
Identify, assess and prioritise environmental impacts, taking into account our own activities and the value chain, in order to focus efforts on the most significant issues.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Pursue continuous progress, based on monitoring indicators, regularly assessing performance and adapting the actions taken.
ACCOUNTABILITY AND ENGAGEMENT
Involve our employees in implementing this approach through awareness-raising, training and the integration of these issues into everyday working practices.
TRANSPARENCY AND DIALOGUE
Communicate transparently on our commitments, actions and progress, and encourage dialogue with stakeholders on environmental issues.
