There is a new way to train your Pokémon for competitive
battles now, called Super Training, which you can do using
the bottom screen of your 3DS. It’s basically a place for EV
(Effort Value) training. Don’t know what that is? It used to
be a long and complicated process, but now it’s a series of
mini-games that you play to enhance certain stats of the
Pokémon you use during it (only one). It is essential to do if
you want to battle competitively with your Pokémon.
There are 68 new Pokémon and 454 Pokémon
total appearing in both the games (combined). After you
complete the game it is unsure on whether or not you can
start collecting all 707 of the Pokémon that now exist, but
you can be sure that I’m going to try.
I highly recommend talking to everyone and
everything in this game. You’ll even find a reference to
Vegeta (Dragon Ball Z) as you go through the game, but
I’m not telling you where, you’ll have to look and see.
This is the perfect game for fans of the Pokémon
franchise, old fans trying to get back into the swing of
things, people who are trying to get into competitive
battling, or just anyone who likes stunning visuals and
effects.
