February of 2012, the first photoshoot of Angelic Magazine was in collaboration with Pink House Boutique's featured fashion designer, Bri Bridge. Frequently supplying clothing for Angelic photoshoots as well as being a part of our first fashion show, owner of Pink House, Danica Coral has been our friend and ally since the beginning of our existence as a magazine. When most boutiques and companies would run from us because we declare to represent Jesus through fashion, it was Pink House who never shuttered from identifying with our purpose. Located fifteen minutes from downtown Phoenix in historic Glendale, Arizona, Pink House has it's own style that separates itself from any boutique in the Phoenix market. . As a fashion forward brand, Pink House is building their reputation as Arizona's premiere clothing boutique.
We interviewed Danica Coral and got the scoop for how she's able to make Pink House a one of a kind fashion boutique. Q. How did you get into fashion? A. In college I did an internship at a denim line for a company called Pepe Jeans. I worked in the international division, that was my real start professionally. Q. If that was your start professionally, what was your beginning start? A. My mom made me dresses as a little girl. She would make them the way I wanted them. As a little girl I would go shopping with my mom and I was always obsessed with pink. Everything they would buy me would be pink. My mom would go to hundred's of stores, looking for pink skirts, pink shoes, pink this, pink that.
Q. Is that how you came up with the name Pink House? A. Yes, pretty much. Growing up it was always on my mind to have a store that was nice and affordable. Q. What makes Pink House stand out from all other boutiques in Arizona? A. We have the three things we keep in mind when we buy: quality, on trend and good prices. We want everyone to see great items when they come in and when they look at the price we want them to love the price too. We have something for everyone. We have three generations who can walk in and find something. The grand daughter will walk out with something, the mom and the grandma will be able to find something they'll like as well.
