the municipality of Amadeo will
benefit from the donation by the
provincial government of Cavite
of fifty (50) units of desk fans.
Provincial Administrator
for Community Affairs Engr.
Redel John B. Dioniso represented
Governor Boying Remulla and
also led the distribution of the
desk fans which was recently
held at the Amadeo Elementary
School.
Engr. Dionisio gave
an
inspirational
message
encouraging teachers to stay
happy and generous in imparting
knowledge for the future of the
youth thus the growth of the
economy.

command responsibility of every
Unit Commander in closely

Every PNP personnel is
also bound to report illegal-drugs
related
activities/personalities
within their community to their
superior officer and would merit
serious neglect of duty if failed to
do so.
‘One-strike policy’ shall
also be implemented if the PNP
members under a Chief of Police
(COP) is arrested and charged
in his-her involvement in illegal
drugs by other operating units;
when two of more Cops under
a Provincial Director (PD) are
relieved due to illegal drugs
issue; and if two or more PDs/
CDs are relieved due to illegal
drugs related issues.
“All of these, and other
provisions
of
the
PNP’s
operational
guidelines
and
adherence to policies on anti-
illegal drugs campaign will be
closely monitored by DILG and
NAPOLCOM as we try to cleanse
the ranks of PNP and weed out

As additional aid to educators and students, the Provincial Government of Cavite donated a total of 50 desk fans to public schools
in Amadeo on January 31, 2018 at Amadeo Elementary School. Provincial Administrator for Community Affairs Engr. Redel John B.
Dioniso who led the distribution of desk fans on behalf of Cavite Governor Boying C. Remulla, encouraged teachers to stay happy
and to continue imparting knowledge for the growth of the economy. Engr. Dionisio strongly believed that education is life itself, thus
pledging his continued support to projects that will further improve the education system in Amadeo. The provincial administrator’s

Albay respond to the needs of its
affected constituents, the DSWD
sent additional relief assistance to
the province last week, including
6,503 family food packs, 6,500
dignity kits, 2,000 assorted toys,
and 6,503 blankets.

top of the earlier aid provided by
the Department to the province
which included 5,500 FFPs and
11,000 malongs and to Legazpi
City, which included 500 food
packs and 1,000 malongs.

The DSWD Field Office

by conducting daily visits to
temporary shelters. The FO also

the continuous provision of aid
to the evacuees and to determine
other services needed.
As of 6 am today
(January 31), 23,250 families or
89,828 persons in 61 barangays in
Albay have been affected by the
volcanic activities of Mayon.
Some 19,233 families
or 72,972 persons are still taking
temporary shelter in 76 open
evacuation centers, while 2,901
families or 11,993 persons are
staying with relatives and friends.
“Our Field Office
is working 24/7 to ensure
that affected Filipinos are
provided for. We have begun to
implement temporary changes
in the implementation of our
programs such as the Pantawid
ng Pamilyang Pilipino Program
(4Ps), to accommodate the
changes in the situation faced by
our beneficiaries in the region,”

Welfare
and
Development Office (PSWDO)
recently celebrated its 1st
Multi-Sectoral Assembly with
the theme: “Strong Partnership
for a Sustainable Development
Program.”
The event was held
at the Provincial Gymnasium
with the able support of the
provincial government of
Cavite.
The event featured
an audio-visual presentation
of the accomplishments of
each sectors: Federation of
Senior Citizens, Persons
with
Disabilities,
Solo
Parents, Children and Youth
that includes Day Care
Federation and Pag-Asa Youth
Association, OFW Federation
and
Military
Retirees/
Veterans.
Notable
programs
that were highlighted and
were being implemented
were: Kalinga sa Nakatatanda,
Elderly Week Celebration
and distribution of burial
assistance for senior citizens;
Sunong Dunong Distribution
and assistive devices for
Person’s
with
Disability
(PWDs); Practical Skills
and
Development,
Self-
Employment,
Assistance
Program for Solo Parents and
Youth Association.
Speakers
and
guests in the event were
Provincial Social Welfare
and Development Officer,
Ms. Fely G. Servañez who
acknowledged the Board
members and participants for
their cooperation in all their
endeavors while PSWDO

and assistance from the
provincial government to

creation of more projects and

Board Member Kerby Salazar
that would benefit each sector.
Dr. Jadaza Hintay
gave a motivational talk on
partnership building where
“in being together, everyone
accomplishes more and power
of a team was achieved.”
She also added that “members
must build trust, basically
practices excellent governance
structure, and possess open
communication with each
member of the multi-sectoral
leaders which continually
seek feedback from the
community”.
The
event
gave
symbolic and significant
activities like the Commitment
Signing of Sectoral Presidents
and council members that
sealed the goal of the Multi-
Sectoral Assembly.
Likewise a balloon
flying was conducted to signify
and send good wishes for the
success of each council.
Certificates
of
Recognition
were
also
awarded to Board Members,
City/Municipal Social Welfare
and Development Officers and
