“This is a 20 year dream. We started racing and bought this car 20 years ago and it took 10 years to win our
first event and it has taken 20 years to win the championship, which was our goal right from the beginning,”
Panagiotidis said.
“We will try and run the season again, but for now we will go home and regroup.
“I definitely have to single out the crew – they are everything, we have had a good, loyal crew all season. My
son George, my daughter Lexi and my cousin Harry – we have all travelled together and worked really well
together and everything worked out! I also want to thank ANDRA and Summit Racing Equipment, as well as
my supporters.”
