“It is fantastic to take out the title after 23 years of trying. It was a great season, it was good to have the new
format, we really enjoyed that,” Cassar said.
“It was good to travel around and we set plenty of records in the process. And I won the championship on a
tie-breaker, who ever thought that would happen!
“My favourite event of the season was probably the one where I won at Portland, it was a hairy final as Danny
Rickard put me up against the wall and I didn’t think we would win it but we got it done!”
