An Intimate Portrait of Planters Inn | Page 5

The Planters Inn Courtyard july & august 2013 tripadvisor reviews: ELEGANT AND CLASSY “The hotel is somewhat discreet on the corner but as soon as you enter it oozes elegance and class and is a beautiful environment. The room was large and spacious and styled very tastefully with lovely old furniture and a classic fourposter Rice Bed. Service was great, with turndown every evening adding that little extra touch and the valet service was also efficient. What was really great though was the front parlour room with iced tea and coffee available in the afternoon and evenings. The parlour was decorated in keeping with the character of the inn (and the city) and was a great place to spend a few minutes every day soaking up the gentile charms of the South.” - @Supers0n1c1977 / London, UK BEAUTIFUL HOTEL “I’ve stayed at some of the best hotels in the world and my stay with you ranks at the very top. Hotel is beautiful and the staff could not have been more professional, helpful, and nice. Please pass along my compliments to them all. In my opinion, the Planters Inn is the ONLY place to stay in Charleston.” - @goodsecret / Aspen, CO EXCEPTIONAL ACCOMMODATIONS “We spent 5 nights at the Planters Inn. The interiors were designed by Amelia Handegan, whose work I have enjoyed in publications, so that was especially interesting. The staff was exceptionally thoughtful and helpful, from the room reservation to reservations in the city.” - @gh3travls / Houston, TX photo by peter frank edwards in this issue one city, five ways explore & discover resplendent & romantic peninsula grill as seen in esquire oysters rockefeller a day with chef dailey get to know graham charleston tastemaker chic & unique blue notes & pink martinis mercato amid the splendor say, i do 8 12 16 18 28 34 36 + questions or comments: [email protected]
