7. Disposal of waste and spillage
As an inert material, AFM® may be sent to an approved solid waste disposal or landfill site for disposal.
AFM® is a circular economy product and should ideally not be sent to landfill.

A FM® will last for the life of the filtration system and should never need to be replaced. However if
AFM® is removed from the filters due to decommissioning of the filter, it may be returned to Dryden
Aqua. The media should be analysed prior to returning to Dryden Aqua to ensure there has been no
contamination.
