Frankenstein Trikes conversion kits FRANKENSTIEN Trikes bases its trike conversion kits around its proprietary rear ends. Available in width of 30in, 34in, 38in and 42in, all the rear ends utilize a 6061 T6 billet aluminum housing with 9in Ford street/strip axles, running on sealed bearings with a five on 4.5in bolt pattern, a billet four-piston caliper and stainless steel rotor. Frankenstein combines the axles with trike specific swingarms, which are available to fit; Sportsters, Dynas, Softails, FLs, FXRs, V-Rods and four-speed applications. Also included in the conversion kits are Frankenstein Trikes’ raked triple trees. One such example is the set created for use on the Sportster Forty-Eight and Super Low, which use smaller than usual front wheels. For these applications Frankenstein Trikes designed the Mid-Glide Modular threedegree raked triple tree utilizing a one-piece low riser, a Super-Low headlight bracket and a custom headlight visor bracket. The complete kits also include rear fenders and brackets, wheels and tires and shock absorbers. “Choosing a trike kit is an important decision, and we expect our customers to compare our trike kits to those of other manufacturers.
