MBJ reports that Harley has exited its hangar at Milwaukee ' s Mitchell International airport – declining to renew its $ 34,000 pa lease for the land. It is responsible for demolishing the hangar structure. Harley had leased the land for the hangar since May 2001 and owns the flight-support facility. The move follows the departure of former CEO Jochen Zeitz, whose primary residence was in the Santa Fe area of New Mexico. Part of Zeitz ' s compensation was " executive aircraft usage," which in 2025- his last year at Harley- was valued at $ 283,281, according to a company proxy statement. That figure was based on the incremental cost to the company for use of company-leased aircraft, according to the proxy.
