Triumph does not have a universal measure
~Justina Page~
On March 7, 1999 my husband, six sons, and myself experienced a horrific four
alarm house fire which resulted in the death of our 22 month twin son Amos.
Myself and the other twin were severely injured and all of my kids were burned.
There are moments in life that change you forever. The death of Amos Beniah
Page was such a moment for me. Nothing in life makes any sense unless
there is something positive that comes from such a tragic loss. The pain has
been turned into compassion, the loss has been turned into understanding, the
emptiness has been turned into a life of renewed purpose. In honor of Amos, I
help others. To God be the glory.
The Amos House of Faith is a nonprofit organization established in 2007 to
provide post burn support for families and children affected by burn trauma. We
have a program for children grades K-8 called the After Burns Club (ABC) which
is a support group for kids to learn how to deal with teasing, staring, and other
subjects pertinent to recovery. We also have established the HERO program to
assist firefighters and their families after a byrn tragedy. Soon we look forward
to opening the Amis Hiuse of Faith Family to provide a home away from home
for caretakers of seriously burned patients on the John S Dunn Sr burn unit at
Memorial Hermann -TMC.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to
them who are the called according to his purpose.
I know for a fact that God can use anything for good. Bad, sad, wrong,
unexpected, he has control over it all. It doesn’t mean he does all things but he
controls the final destiny of anything associated with his children.
