Words can hardly do justice to Yellowstone National Park , one of Mother Nature ’ s finest creations . Established in 1872 , Yellowstone was America ’ s first national park . Best time to go : Yellowstone is open year round ; however , many roads are closed Nov-Apr , although visitors can travel in snowcoaches . Summer is hot and very crowded , while late spring and early autumn are cooler .
