Getting there: Flights from the UK to Denver take about 10 hours. Jackson is around a 2! hour drive to Yellowstone.
Best time to go: Yellowstone is open year round; although, many roads close November-April, but visitors can travel in snowcoaches. Summer is hot and crowded, while late spring and early autumn are cooler. For the Rockies, hiking opportunities abound from mid-June to mid August, although September-October is ideal for fewer crowds and autumn colours.
