I had always known there was more to sex than what I had experienced yet I
didn't really know what it was until I participated in a 2-day workshop on
sexuality. This experience awakened me to the reality that sexuality, intimacy
and conscious relating are some of the most important pieces missing from our
education, and often our spiritual journey.

This is what we need to share with teenagers so that they know
from puberty how sacred their body, their temple is, so that they
may understand their sexuality and understand the power of this
energy when it is cultivated and how to consciously share it with
others.
So after walking the medicine wheel and having many ‘other than normal
reality’ experiences that answered my questions; who am I, what and I doing
here and what is life all about I was delivered to the door of 21st century
Sacred Sexuality.
I had a word with my soul if it was serious and the universe laughed at me, I
may have answered some of the most important questions in life on my way
up the mountain but now I had to come back down and pick up those pieces I
had left behind.
Nevertheless, what I had realized is that there was nothing I had to put in to
my being or ‘activate’ that when we take away all that is not ours the natural
flow of our sexual/life force energy returns effortlessly.
We live in a society where sex is used to sell and as a stress relief, where many
people override their heart for sexual gratification, and the majority of sexual
interactions are friction based and goal orientated ending in a contractive peak
orgasm.

For a moment just imagine
what our lovemaking would
be like if we relaxed,
surrendered into our bodies,
hearts and presence and
embarked on a journey of
discovery with ourselves
and our beloved, no goal,
no agenda...
