Seven years ago I received my cosmic kick out of Africa, my conservation work
and a 20yr relationship. My spiritual journey had become the focus of my
existence and it was time to discover who I was, what I was supposed to be
doing here and what life on earth was all about.
All I knew is that I had to clean up my physical and energetic body
and forget everything I knew and everything I thought I was as this
seemed to be the most likely way I might discover who I am.
From working with indigenous people in my clinic in the heart of Omo
National Park, Ethiopia I had become aware that there was a whole lot
going in the unseen world that was influencing our 3D realty, informing
our choices, how we responded to life and generally how we walked in
the world.
This brought me to the conclusion
that it wasn't about putting any
more information into our body or
being but rather taking away all
that was not the source of our
soul; all that we had inherited
from our ancestors, all the trauma
that we had experienced in this
life, programming of society,
religious
indoctrination,
belief
systems
and
any
unfinished
business from past lives.

You may be wondering what this may have to do with Sacred Sexuality...
Well, many of us have been influenced in some way or other by a
major religion that has informed us, or our ancestors, that sex is a
sin and we are separate from God. These beliefs have worked
pretty well keeping us from our power and our connection with the
earth and our body for the past 2000 yrs.
Did you know that in indigenous cultures there is no separation
between sexual and our life-force energy and they are often described
with the same word?
This means, every time we use, abuse, suppress or repress our sexual
energy we are actually misusing our very own Life Force energy.
