In my own work, which is created from my own experiences, we create an
awareness, a field of energy and perception as to what is going on for us.
We learn to recognise that within the field of discomfort
lies the potential for rediscovery of who we are and who
we can become.
Without the repetition of these stories there is
little chance of making those changes, so it can
become a necessary discipline to trust that when
these stories arise we need to simply be with
them and ask ourselves:
'HOW CAN I DO THIS DIFFERENTLY THIS
TIME?'

This can involve feeling deep emotions that need expressions of sadness, anger
or grief and on my own journey, by engaging with the MOVEMENT MEDICINE
practice, I found that by dancing and releasing the trapped energy from within
my body that held these emotions, I was beginning to change.
I didn't always know quite what was changing but I knew it had a lot to do with
my past and that I was becoming more confident and able to stand on my own
two feet and make very definite decisions about who I was and who I felt I
could become. I F
