Chasing the Music: Cammy Barnes’ Story

From cutting hair to captivating crowds, Cammy Barnes has never been afraid to follow his passions.
Cammy’ s story began at Fife College in 2013, where he studied Theatre and Electrical at the Kirkcaldy campus. The theatre classes helped him grow confidence on stage, laying the foundation for his future as a performer.
After college, he opened Barney’ s Barbershop in Methil and Anstruther. The shop soon became a community hotspot, bringing together barbering, live music and performance— a sign of the creative journey ahead.
His music career has grown ever since. International touring with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers and a Britain’ s Got Talent 2023 semifinal appearance led to the success of“ Bonnie’ s Song,” which topped the UK iTunes charts and introduced his writing to a wider crowd.
In 2026, Cammy is set for another big year. He will open the main stage at TRNSMT Festival, perform at MacMoray and return to Heartland Festival, while completing a run of intimate Scottish shows with his band.
