Batch ’94 Alumni Homecoming Action Team
Ever since we could recall during our stint in Highschool, Bosconi-
ans are known for “cramming”. Be it on exams or shop projects,
it has become one our trait to rush things to make it to the dead-
line. One may find this a negative trait, however, Bosconians also
make use of these situations to showcase, ingenuity, creativity
and teamwork. Just imagine the challenges of putting together
the homecoming event after 25 years of living our individual lives
separately. Other batches plan for the homecoming event for at
least a year or more, Batch ’94 Alumni Homecoming Action Team
did it in less than 3 months! While the entire Batch ’94 worked on
putting all our resources together to raise funds for the home-
coming, we wanted to acknowledge few individuals who went out
of their way and their busy schedule to ensure that the event is a
success. Let’s get to know them more!
Richard “Tame” Cruz – Tame is the CEO and President of CATA
Construction Philippines. He graduated Interior Design at the Phil-
ippine School of Interior Design in 2000, which provided his skill
in running his own construction company. He likes mixed martial
arts and was a former president of Underground Battle Mixed Mar-
tial Arts of the Philippines (UGB MMA). He loves spending his free
time with his Family. His loyalty to DBTC Mandaluyong could not
be questioned as he spearheaded initiatives that provided struc-
ture to the whole planning and execution of Batch ‘94’s Alumni

Homecoming preparations.
Anthony “Ton” Blanquisco – Ton is known to be the life of the
party during high school and continues to be one until the present
day. His no non-sense antics during planning breaks the boredom
of planning a homecoming event. Amidst all that, his attention
to details and ideas solved some of the roadblocks we encoun-
tered. He currently works as a Technical Consultant III at Hewlett
Packard PPS Philippines Inc. He is a loving husband to his wife
and a cool Dad to his 4 Kids. He fancy cars and machineries, and
anything Technical in nature. Like majority of us in the batch,
he is grateful for the Salesian Education he received in DBTC.
Ton stands proud to be part of the Batch ’94 Alumni Homecoming
Action Team as his only goal is to help make the homecoming of
Batch ’94 a memorable one. For him, all hard work and sacrifices
the team invested, are all worth it!
Ludovico “Vic” Cumpas – Is a licensed Real Estate Broker who
have helped numerous individuals in their financials goals through
Real Estate investing, as a freelancer. He is Happily Married with
3 kids and is a known The Beatle’s Fan since birth. He also loves
watching WWE Wrestling in his free time. Vic is grateful to have
been involved in the planning of the Homecoming event. He is
thankful to the Don Bosco education, especially to all the teach-
ers, for honing our values which proves beneficial in surviving the
challenging adult life. And for the entire batch ’94, here is what
he wanted to say: “to my fellow batchmates, through good times
and bad, I will cherish our camaraderie and friendships forever!
Walang iwanan!”.
Mark Mendoza – Mark is also into Construction business and is the
Owner/President of Bulb Builders. He grew up with the rest of
us throughout his elementary and Highschool life but graduated
with Batch ’95 due to some unforeseen circumstances. However,
that did not stop Mark to help Batch ’94 by sharing his resources
to make the homecoming event memorable for everyone. His
dedication and selflessness reflect a true Bosconian spirit. He
likes basketball and love travelling with his family. For him, Rob-
ert Southey’s quote speaks for what he feels for the batch: “No
Distance or lapse of time can lessen the friendship of those who
are thoroughly persuaded of each other’s worth”.
Anthony “Doogie” Dugenia – Doogie Graduated B.S. Computer
Engineering in DBTC Mandaluyong. He is currently working at
Sutherland Global Services Inc. as a Senior Project Manager. He
loves travelling with his Wife and son and explore different places
locally and internationally. He is into numismatics and is member
of the Bank Notes Society of the Philippines. He developed his
love to serve the Church through his Bosconian upbringing and
have served San Felipe Parish for more than 12 years as a choir
member, and is now continuing his mission to serve the church
as a choir member at the Colegio de Santa Rosa in Makati, and
as member of the Family and Life Ministry at the Hearts of Jesus
and Mary Parish in West Avenue, Q.C. He attributed his success
in his career because of the values he developed as a Bosconian.
His favorite Don Bosco teaching, “Do your ordinary duties, extra-
ordinarily well”
Mark Conrad “Macoi” Villarba – Getting tired and exhausted are
words that don’t belong to Macoi’s vocabulary. He works grave-
yard shift as a Service Delivery and Operations Manager at CGI
Philippines, BUT he is one of the go-to-person of the action team,
especially in handling and managing Batch ‘94’s homecoming Fi-
nancials. Macoi graduated B.S. Accountancy at the Jose Rizal Uni-
versity, Mandaluyong. A loving father to a beautiful young lady, he
spends his free time playing basketball and biking. He loves the
beach and bum around with his PS4. His only wish for the entire
batch ’94 is to live long and prosper, in a true Bosconian way!
Christian Pineda – Christian loves the outdoor. During his leisure
time, he joins Marathons and Fun Runs. He also loves swimming.
You will also see him either on his Bike or hiking in the wilder-
ness. He is the President and CEO of PMC Global Machineries,
a company he established, specializing in Metal Fabrication
machineries. He may be busy with work and being a dad to his 2
kids, but that did not hinder him from sharing his resources and
services, to help with the Batch ’94 Homecoming preparations. A
true Blooded Bosconian, he attended Preparatory school in DBTC
and pursued his specialization in the ITC Department of DBTC
under the Mechanical Technology Course. Like the rest of us, he is
grateful to have been part of the action team, that provided the
opportunity for us to give back to the Don Bosco and at the same
time serve his fellow Batchmates.
