A Cadet Christmas Quest
By Cadet E. Jarvis
On 18th December 2013, cadets from
2497 Cosford Squadron headed down to
Shrewsbury for a fun filled Christmas
celebration.
The cadets where split into groups;
half bowling first, and half doing laser
quest. I was sorted into the bowling
group and I had an amazing time socialising with the other cadets and enjoying the bowling matches. Sadly I
came last in my group! But never the
less, I still had a wonderful time!
After bowling my half of the cadets
had a great time doing laser quest and
even
the
staff
joined
in!
The glowing guns and coloured vests really gave an entertaining feel to the
game and made it all the more challenging to hide from the enemy.
After enjoying a meal of burger or
hotdog and chips, the cadets headed
back to the squadron with smiles on
their faces. And I'm sure I speak for
everyone when I say we all had an exciting, fun packed party and we couldn't
thank the staff for a better evening! ●
“The evening was great! It was good to see
everyone having a good time - plus I liked the food.”
- Cadet N. Cook
“Twas a gud'n.”
- Cadet J. Hawthorn
“To be crowned laser quest champion was not
just an honour but one of the defining moments
of my ATC career - and sweaty to, very sweaty.”
- Corporal S. Cox
“An excellent night, really enjoyed it. Good food
and I had a great time doing the laser quest.”
- Cadet A. Kenney
