Pediatrics Plus Blends Therapy, Education, and Heart
Located in the heart of downtown Alma, Pediatrics Plus is a specialized pediatric healthcare provider. In a client-centered environment, children ages birth to 21 can receive outpatient Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy. Additionally, Applied Behavioral Analysis( ABA) is offered for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder( ASD) diagnosis. With over 20 years of specialized care, Pediatrics Plus is dedicated to continuous improvement in and outside of classrooms and treatment spaces. This collaborative environment allows for children to receive all services in one location with a team of professionals who provide coordinated care.

The passion for the school district and community is a shared value amongst the staff in Alma. Senior Director, Miranda Potts worked as a special education teacher in the River Valley for over 10 years before transitioning to leading Pediatrics Plus Alma.
“ When I worked in the school, I supported students at the end of their public education. It is a great honor to now be able to help raise up the next generation of Airedales,” said Potts.
Since opening in 2021, Pediatrics Plus Alma has served 656 children and families within Alma and the surrounding communities. Pediatrics Plus houses nine classrooms complete with custom curriculum, designed to support the different needs of children entering their educational pathway. The state-of-the-art facility completed its full remodel at the conclusion of 2024. New therapy spaces introduced rock walls, ball pits, sensory spaces, two age-appropriate playgrounds, and unique gyms. The facility also includes an activities of daily living suite, the House Next Door, with a full kitchen and living room for individuals to master independent living skills. The Backyard Park, a unique, dramatic play space, allows children to experience therapy in a
