T
he Allen Eagles won their fifth state football championship
on December 23 with a 35-33 win over Lake Travis High
School. The 6A Division 1 champions finished the season
with a perfect 16-0 record under the leadership of head coach Terry
Gambill.
The team was ranked by MaxPreps Football as public school
national champions for 2018 and as the overall state champion in
Texas.
Congratulations to all of the players and coaches for their
accomplishment. We also appreciate the thousands of fans who
followed the Eagles from their first game in August to their big win
in December.
