Initially, I found my PESTLE analysis quite difficult. I struggled to get to grips with the political section, and found myself getting off task and procrastinating because I didn’t quite understand. I had to find the motivation to research PESTLE analysis’ further and using news reports I self-taught myself the issue of BREXIT and VAT. Once I began to understand what I had to write about each section became easier and I actually ended up learning a lot about my brand idea and if it would be financially realistic in the real world. Without a PESTLE analysis, I think I would’ve found the rest of the project a lot more challenging as I wouldn’t have the foundations of my project.
My Time Management during this project has immensely improved, I had set myself a target from previous studies to improve on my Time Management. Beforehand, I feel as though I was very unorganised and didn’t produce work at the highest standard that I could’ve due to leaving certain pieces of work to the last minute. Throughout Unit 13, I have kept an up to date Smart Targets document, within this document, I have set myself weekly challenges and goals and have included what I need to do to achieve these goals. At the end of the week I have included a reflection area, where I reviewed each week and outlined what went well, what went wrong and what I could do to improve.
