EVALUATION
Throughout my Unit 13 studies, I have discovered a lot about myself; including my work ethic and my new found determination. This project in particular, I have enjoyed due to being able to choose my own idea. I chose a topic I am passionate about, this meant that I didn’t get bored and it carried me through to the end. I knew from the start that Sustainability was the pathway that I wanted to include within my project and from that moment my ‘All Things Faux’ business venture idea began. Although I have had a few step backs and obstacles thrown at me, I feel as though I have produced my work at the highest standard it has ever been during my time at the Fashion Retail Academy.
I have always found expressing my creative flare within my work difficult and during this project I found it just as hard. However, I didn’t want to let it set me back and I didn’t let it stop me from learning how to use new platforms such as Photoshop and Canva. After learning how to use different platforms and trying to overcome this issue, the creative side of my work became easier and I was able to produce more eye-catching imagery. Although I had these platforms in my favour, using Joomag creatively, was my biggest struggle yet. I felt as though my Joomag looked quite unprofessional and my stress levels began to rise as the due date was near. After speaking to peers and lecturers it built up my confidence to continue with my Joomag and not give up, and I am now happy with my final product.
