HAPPY HOLIDAYS OR PARKING LOT PAINS
We have all been there: holiday shopping. What is supposed to be known as, "the most wonderful time of the year" turns into frantic holiday shopping. Trying to beat the crowds, some shoppers begin months ahead while others wait till the last moment. More than often people try to avoid the crowds that gather at the mall, but sometimes it is inevitable. Going up and down the aisles we are trying to find a parking stall. Although there are stalls that seem to be a mile away from the entrance of the mall, we choose to look for a parking spot that lays closer to the means of our ends. During this time of the year, indiscretions tend to rise in the parking lots. Rather than people being jolly and giving, people tend to be grouchy and stingy. In some situations people have even landed themselves in jail. A man from West Chester points a revolver at a motorist insisting that he did wrong by taking a parking spot that was "already taken". Shortly after, the man was arrested.
ARE YOU A: CROOKED PARKER, STALL HOGGER, OR SPOT HUNTER?
There are many types of parkers. On average majority of the drivers park accordingly to social norms, but there are those who just don’t obey by the rules. More than often while trying to find a spot we see those who just cant stay inside the lines and take more than one stall. Many people make comments and continue to drive while others choose to make their mark. Sometimes notes of digression are left on the 'wrong doer's car'. Next there is the Stall hogger. This are people who gets into their vehicle and takes their sweet time even though they know someone is waiting for their spot. Whether they are doing this knowingly or not, people aren't always thinking of others. Finally, there are the spot hunters. These are the drivers who slowly creep on pedestrians who are leaving the store. Instead of asking where the stall is, they rush the original spot taker and charge as soon as it available. While you're an outsider looking in, try to "do to others and you want them to do to you".
