What is your musical process like? Who does the arrangements, writes the lyrics...how does it all come together? I write the lyrics and the original chords; however, it’s not really a structured thing. It’s more in the moment, in the memory. I write when I have something to say, it helps me express myself and my feelings. So I believe it’s better to be a natural thing taken from real experience. From there the band arranges to get together and write the instruments, find the style/sound of the song and then the work begins. It's been quite a few years since I've been 18. That being said, I Recall at 18 is so relatable. What do you think is the key to writing great songs that span age ranges? The ones that are truly timeless? I think it’s hard to say, but I think it comes down to writing about something eternal that all people experience and all people can relate to.
