If you HAD to pick a favorite song, and I mean gun-held-to-your-head-pick-a favorite,
which would it be, and why?
Counting Crows, Mrs. Potters Lullaby, one of my favorite songs and favorite bands. It’s always
the first song I play when the sun comes out. It has great lyrics, sounds great, and it always
brings me back to the beach with a beer in my hand.
Being on a beach with a beer in your hand is always a great memory to have. Okay, so
break it down for us. Tell us the best trait and most annoying thing about each band
member?
Mad: Always positive, but never answers his phone!
Alex: Good Laugh, but always plays Pirates of the Caribbean to sound check
Kyle: Real team player, but ALWAYS has an answer
Aly: Insightful, but loves to randomly speed up drums when playing songs live or at jams
Liam: He’s a perfectionist, but at the same time everything has to be perfect
Lol. Sounds like a well-balanced team. Where do you see the band in ten years? What do
you hope to accomplish?
In ten years we'd like to still be going strong doing what we love, writing new material, and
hopefully be in the position where music is all we do and what we do. We want to be playing the
best festivals, traveling the best places, and meeting the best people.
So what's up next for Lawless and the Leash?
Got some gig announcements in our local area to come, currently re-doing our demo in a studio
and working on our first single. Hopefully we will have a festival appearance, but all in all very
excited for what’s to come and sharing it with you all.
Guys, thanks so much for your time. I've been a huge fan from the beginning. I'm coming
to Scotland for 6 weeks the summer of 2018. I hope to catch a show.
