Gotten your fix of 70s tunes, what about the 1980s? The Hype will close out the first night on the Main Stage by providing attendees an ultimate 80s glam rock experience from 9-11:50 p. m. Experience the band’ s huge stage production, light show and rock star presence.
The Hype will perform some of the biggest hits from Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Poison, Bon Jovi, and other glam rock staples. Don’ t miss out on the high energy glamtastic, bombastic rock show provided by vocalist Scottie Cee, drummer JJ Babcock, bass player Dugan McNeill and guitar player Johnny Holiday.
The fireworks display will then begin after approximately 10 p. m. If
there is rain, the firework display will be rescheduled to Saturday.
Live music on Saturday evening, June 14, includes George Jundt Concertina Player 4:30 p. m. at St. Albert Parish Center, 5700 Lander Ave. NE., a short walk from the festival grounds at Central Park.
Chad Edwards Band will play 6-8 p. m. on the Main Stage. This band brings a unique blend of country, rock and americana for those looking to two-step the night away. Whether it’ s an original tune, or a classic country hit with a spin on it, this group of Minnesota natives will make sure your feet are stomping. Vocalist Chad Edwards has a voice as smooth as aged whiskey and an unmatched way of telling stories. So grab a hat, put on your boots and don’ t miss out on the Chad Edwards
Band.
From 7-10 p. m., the Everett Smithson Band will perform at the Farmers Market Shelter. The band was formed in 2005 and included Everett Smithson on harp and vocals, Phil Schmid on guitar, Jeremy Johnson on drums and Bill Black on stand up bass. In 2006, Everett Smithson’ s wife Kathy Smithson joined with her accordions and added a creole sound.
Then in 2018, Victor Span added his talent on drums while Johnson added his guitar skills and the band has been grooving ever since. Listen to soulful and funky roots of all kinds including well known tunes with a spin and some of the band’ s original songs.
Closing out the Main Stage from 8:30 p. m. to midnight is Slamabama, and from the first note to
the last encore, they will have the audience’ s undivided attention. Listen to a perfect blend of country, rock and pop that will keep the energy and fun moving the whole time. Sing along to all of your favorites during this interactive and entertaining music performance.
Don’ t miss out on Insphyre’ s performance at the Central Park Depot Plaza starting at 9:50 p. m. Watch flames fly in a dazzling night show that has toured around the world.
On Sunday, Axel & Betty will perform 2-5 p. m. at the Farmers Market Shelter. The duo joined forces after years of Betty Danger playing as a solo artist after she met Axel Thorslund on social media. Danger was born in Mora, Minnesota while Thorslund is from Mora, Sweden.

story, the two began a long distance relationship back and forth between Sweden and Minnesota. They married in 2023, and now live in Minnesota together
