Alaska's Angling Addiction - Kenai River Fishing Guides 2014 2014 Kenai River Fishing Guide | Page 5

It is hard to pick just one place in Alaska that provides everything an angler could want. Remote camps, rafting adventures, and fly out fishing are all available to anglers who take on fishing this great state. A land that was once seen as opportunity to strike it rich and make a new life, Alaska all these years later still provides its visitors great riches, especially anglers. This abundance of angling opportunity is exactly why we choose to call the Kenai Peninsula home. Located about an hour and a half from Anchorage, the Kenai Peninsula is packed full of all the things that make Alaska great. Mountains, glaciers, ocean fjords, wildlife and great rivers abound throughout the Kenai. Anglers here can truly get a taste of what Alaska is about from one central location. Setting all these non-angling things that make the Kenai great aside, the fishing is among the biggest draw. All 5 species of salmon, trout, and char fishing is as good as anywhere in the state. The Kenai River is the epicenter of angling on the peninsula and is our home base. Known world wide as a trophy angling destination, anglers travel to the Kenai from around the world to chase the trophies of their dreams. Gigantic King Salmon, Sockeye Salmon runs into the millions, acrobatic Silver Salmon, and Rainbow Trout that push into 3 feet can all be found here on the Kenai. There are many guide services available, but there are a few things that set Alaska’s Angling Addiction apart from the crowd. Our guides are certified fly casting instructors, and anglers of all skill sets will leave as a better caster and angler. This desire to teach is at the forefront of our daily goals. We are driven to teach anglers what we are doing and why we are doing it. Check out the rest of the brochure, determine what kind of fishing adventure you are looking for, and contact us.
