Our annual Convention gives us that opportunity for these important industry updates and gives us a chance to strengthen old relations and make new ones a little farther from home but no less important . It serves to pull us together as an industry and strengthens our voice when we need to act against harmful legislation or viewpoints .
Over the years I have also gained valuable knowledge , not just from friendships developed with other industry members , but through the incredible list of speakers that have presented during our conventions . Presentations from experts in the areas of insurance , law , regulations , security , social media , employee relations , finance , history , etc . have provides so much insight and valuable knowledge over the years . That doesn ’ t even include the fun events like whiskey tasting with a Master of Whiskey , mixology classes , scavenger hunts , ATV trips , flight seeing , factory tours and tastings , boat cruises , and many more that are always offered during Convention .
The educational and recreational opportunities are vast each year and this year ’ s convention will be no different . I look forward to what this year ’ s convention will bring us . To touch base with longtime friends and colleagues and make some new ones . I ’ m excited to introduce CHARR and this important annual event to our new members with the hope that everyone will join us in this ongoing tradition .
