Get involved in any way possible on campus. My undergraduate experience would have been nothing without my involvement in different organizations and volunteering programs. They left me motivated and driven. They helped me manage my time and influenced me positively in my studies. Most of all, they lead me to network with several groups of people, helping me to learn about others as well as myself.
Rwaida Izar, Class of 2014
Our intention should be to please Allah. Always step back and think if what we are about say or do will please our Creator. Whether we are staying up late to study, meeting friends, working on projects/events, or spending time with family, we should make sure we do it to please Allah. Keeping our intention as such will help us become conscious of our actions and avoid doing something that is disliked. Not to forget the extra reward for the intention itself!
Nadia Ahmed, Class of 2012
Once you graduate, your responsibilities will increase and your free time will be drastically reduced. It will be very difficult to attend that one lecture, or that one MSA meeting, or that Halaqa, or whatever else we took for granted while in college. Make use of this valuable time; inspire people with your actions so that you may leave a legacy behind for others to follow."
