Proper diet - The food we eat impacts our health , positively or negatively . Your diet is determined by your age , gender , health status and your activities . Here are some basic tenets for healthy diet and they are water , fresh fruits and vegetables . Limit sugar , salt and alcohol intake and balance the nutrients according to your nutritional needs .
Fasting is also a recommended part of your diet routine , not to lose weight although that can be a sideeffect but to detox the mind , body and soul . Scriptural fasting does not call for starvation but to reduce food consumption and use the time to do bible study and pray . It is a time to be “ away ” with God without the distractions of satisfying urges . It is a sacrifice .
