Aircrew Equipment Assembly Maintenance: Maintaining, testing, repairing, and integrating advanced Pilot Flight Equipment, such as mission-integrated helmets, oxygen systems, life preservers, and night vision devices, to ensure the safety and operational readiness of aircrew and passengers.
Parachute Systems Support: Packing, maintaining, and servicing parachute systems for aircraft and Airborne Forces, including personnel parachutes, ejection seat parachutes, aircraft brake parachutes, and equipment parachutes, supporting global military operations and training.
Aircraft and Aircrew Survival Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and providing essential Airborne Life Support Equipment, such as personal locator beacons, emergency life rafts, survival packs, and restraint harnesses, to ensure the safety and survival of aircrew and passengers in emergencies.
Survival Training and Equipment Trials: Supporting survival training and trials by maintaining equipment, offering engineering expertise, and advising survival instructors on the correct handling, operation, and transportation of survival equipment.
Innovation and Integration: Evaluating, testing, and integrating new aircrew and survival equipment, assessing design modifications, and reviewing upgrades to ensure the latest advancements are implemented effectively.
Flight Line Operations: Performing see-in / see-off duties as part of an integrated engineering team, ensuring aircraft are expertly prepared for flight, safely marshalled, and efficiently serviced post-flight, directly contributing to the seamless readiness and success of operational missions.
