So to I impress you lot out there, I think it's
best I get straight into this build (if you can call
it that!) and string a few words together as
well as add some great photos. The end result? You’ll be hooked, I know I was when I
first opened the box.
Based on the American light aircraft manufacturer Piper Aircraft, the Parkzone Archer
is without doubt an all round nice handling
elect powered model to suit just about everybody who simply loves flying.
In The Box
In the Box we have a complete one piece
main wing including servos and wiring, a
tailplane assembly, a fully moulded fuselage
complete with fin & rudder, motor, prop, ESC
and servos all hooked up. There is also a 12v
car type charger and a 2 cell 1300mAh LiPo
battery as well as a small bag of screws, including a binding plug for your own Spectrum
TX; the main undercarriage and wheels are
also supplied. That's it in the box as this review kit is the ‘Bind and Fly’ version, but you
can see where the receiver would be placed
if you were to purchase the ‘Ready To Fly’ version. A detailed instruction manual is included
in several languages so go knock yourself out
reading the non English stuff. I almost could
say there's little need for any instructions as
this model goes together very easily.
As mentioned there are two versions
available BNF and RTF. The only real difference is the RTF includes the TX (Transmitter)
within the box. But seeing as a lot of aeromodellers now own a 2.4 GHz Sprektrum
type transmitter (the type needed to bind with
this model) the BNF is very popular, but both
versions are available.
Okay, assembly will take only minutes, in
fact once you purchase this model in either
guise as mentioned above, the longest part
of the assembly is the charging of the included LiPo battery.
