elcome to the 26 th edition of Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME), where you
can learn, connect and be inspired by the experiences on show. Hosted by the Melbourne
Convention Bureau (MCB) in partnership with Reed Travel Exhibitions, AIME 2018 is bringing together
a global community for two powerful days of networking, education and business.
You will be able to engage with more than 300 exhibitors who will be showcasing the best the events
industry has to offer, plus attend a series of dedicated networking events and be inspired by the line-
up of internationally renowned industry speakers.
Covering three core pillars of knowledge, connections and experience to our community, AIME 2018
is packed with opportunities to expand your horizons and inspire you for the year ahead.
Event technology, regional and global industry trends and forecasts, a behind the scenes look at pop
culture, destinations and live events are among the topics at the AIME 2018 Knowledge Program.
Saxton ‘Up Close and Personal’ sessions are back to deep dive into everything from AI and emotional
intelligence to Millennials and resilience.
New this year is the First Timers Zone offering a great mix of domestic and international companies,
who are either new to AIME or are exhibiting independently for the first time.
Technology is embedded in AIME 2018, from the Selfiebot roaming around the show floor engaging
with delegates to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre on stand 2750 giving tours of their
new expansion thanks to Facebook Spaces virtual reality.
Info Salons will be presenting their new ‘biometric’ facial recognition registration
system. The innovative system uses facial recognition to validate
identifications, can streamline badge production for events and will be
available on the show floor for delegates to check out and test.
Konduko, the smart lead generation technology powered by Info
Salons, is back on the show floor again this year, allowing for
digital handshakes to occur between suppliers and buyers.
Social media and creativity collide courtesy of Rentertainment,
who is inviting you to help complete a giant picture-by-
numbers mosaic wall, consisting of 1944 social media
images that will be taken during #AIME2018.
Take the Cvent Express Challenge at AIME and win some
fantastic prizes! Open to three participants per session,
the challenge will see contestants race each
other to set up an event website, launch
the event, register and print a badge,
all within record time, using their
easy-to-use Cvent Express tool. The
challenge will run every 30 minutes
at stand 2930 on both days of the
