Boyce got started in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning, or HVAC, business at an early age. Both his father and grandfather were in the business. He came to Arkansas to play baseball for the Razorbacks and stayed after falling in love with Northwest Arkansas.

The company provides heating, air conditioning and geothermal systems to Northwest Arkansas. Services include HVAC repair, new installations, planned maintenance and 24-hour, 7-days-a-week emergency calls.
Customer service is the company’ s top priority, said Jay Cockerham, Installation Manager.“ I want to solve the customer’ s problems so they feel good when our company is at the door.”
Hayden Williams, 24, is one of the company’ s technicians. He finds helping customers rewarding.“ It makes them happy and it’ s enjoyable to me. It’ s all problem solving,” he said.
Randall Paschal started Paschal in 1968, said Charley Boyce, President of Paschal.
“ It’ s had a good reputation in Springdale for over 48 years and it’ s a trend we want to continue,” Boyce said.
Boyce purchased in the company in 2012 when it had 20 to 25 employees. That number has grown to about 65 employees.

Paschal offers a variety of career opportunities including HVAC installation and service, marketing, accounting, customer service, human resources and office administration positions.

“ Finding quality people is a big concern,” Boyce said.“ We look for intangibles first: integrity, morals and work ethic. Our model is to hire for character, train for skill. We can always teach the HVAC industry, but we can’ t teach you to be a good person. That has to be owner supplied.”
There is always room for employees to grow at Paschal. Kaitlyn Vogt, Company Sales Coordinator, knows that from experience. She started as a customer service representative, and then became the sales coordinator in charge of scheduling calls for the company’ s energy specialists.
“ This place is fantastic,” Vogt said.“ There are opportunities like crazy.”
