communicate value to internal
and external stakeholders.
Drawing from the literature
on bargaining, negotiation and
persuasion plus cross-cultural
communication and storytelling,
this course is designed to help
you develop the communication
skills you’ll need to succeed in
contemporary business. Focus will
be on a range of business situations
including engaging with clients,
building understanding with internal
stakeholders as well as developing
compelling business cases.

In this final stage,
the AGSM Master of
Management Capstone
Project provides you with
a unique opportunity
to apply theory to the
practice of management
with companies in
business, consulting,
entrepreneurship and
new venture management
projects.
It involves working on real
business cases in groups
to tackle a corporate
project, following which
you’ll present your findings
as business consultants
to an invited committee.
This course acts as a capstone for
the AGSM Master of Management
and allows students to draw together
all of the elements of the degree
and apply them in a real-world
setting. Completed as either
a group consulting project or an
individual assignment, this course
prepares you for and provides
you with the opportunity to apply
theory to practice in a leading
organisation and present findings
and recommendations to executives
from the organisation. Your studies
throughout the degree will support
the successful completion of your
real-world experience or strategic
project. You will be introduced
to a set of consulting skills and
frameworks as well as fundamentals
of project management.
MMGT6007 is the capstone for
the AGSM Master of Management
and all relevant learning goals for
the program will be assured in
this course.
